How to swim through pain
You will feel like drowning
I won’t lie to you
It will be bloody scary
And agonisingly slow
As if time stopped
Exactly at Pain o’clock.
But it will pass.
Just keep swimming
And when you are ready
Let go completely
Submerge into water
Give in to the darkness.
You will come out on the other side
Purified.
And the ashes of your broken heart
Will keep you warm
Until the new dawn.
River flows in sacred blood
Soaking shores with fertile mud
Here lies Lilith on its bank
Combing golden hair like sand
Wreck of greedy ships that sank
In her rapture giving hands
Female pleasure leads a man
To most savage of the lands.
Inside every moon
We bloom in red poppies
We smell as spring
They taught us we stink
Inside every moon
We hide our pride
We burry beneath
The strength that we seek
The feminine red
Is sacred when bled
Falling in love with you
Feels like lying on the operating table
While getting a heart transplant
Without a numbing agent.
I pray that my body
Would never reject you.
I run no more
To small talk
To pointless rush
To light polluted nights
Never dark enough
To overwhelming sounds
Of everyone around
Achieving short success
But hiding inner mess
Inside the crumbling today
No one withholds decay
From creeping into tailored places
Their decorated lawns
Most lustful of embraces
Or nightmarish moans.
Nothing is as sad
As watching the world go mad
Everyday’s normality
Is dying in insanity.
